3 Reasons To Wake Up Half An Hour Earlier Than Normal

If you are a busy working parent, half or one hour extra a day might be a real treasure for you. Waking up earlier than normal might sound challenging, but once you get used to it, it will feel like the best thing you can do for yourself.

  • You can use it as your most dedicated "me" time during the entire day. No matter if you want to meditate, jog, workout on the treadmill or simply have a pampering session in the bathroom, the time is yours only.
  • The house is peaceful and quiet. There are no requests or demands from your family members.
  • If you work from home and have children, it might be stressful to fit your working time around them. Young children tend to be unpredictable and do not always want to sleep exactly when you need to work the most. Waking up earlier than normal can provide you with some extra time to work. Our brains function especially well during the early hours of the day, so many people manage to get more work done in an hour at this time than in 2-3 hours later throughout the day.
You might need to change some of your habits in order to enable yourself to get up earlier. For example, if you tend to stay up late, try switching off the TV or the computer half and hour earlier and head to bed instead. Many people believe that they thrive on working until late at night, but they are likely to be even more productive when their mind is fresh in the morning. While we are all different, it is always advisable to try different options and see what works best for you.

Including more fruit and vegetables in your diet will give you an additional boost of energy. Try reserving the morning for smoothies, fresh juices or fruit only. Your body needs less energy in order to digest them, which lets it use more energy on other activities, such as work.

Have a beautiful day!
